font/ text not the same in other computer

Hi @noli1057,

Which fonts are you having problems with in AutoCAD? Do they exist in both locations? If a font is missing, AutoCAD will substitute a different one.  Operating system regional settings can also affect certain fonts.

Are both workstations using the same version of AutoCAD?

Yes, the other pc does not have the font used by the first workstation and so AutoCAD takes a replacement font.

Other idea: there are different fonts installed with the same name.

Open the _STYLE dialog and go through every single style, if you see a yellow symbol in the field for font, it's missing.

SHX Font:
Find the culprit font and place in a separate folder away from
AutoCAD's OOTB folder structure on the destination PC and
provide a support path to that folder (command OPTIONS -->
"Files" tab).

(command "+OPTIONS" "0")

TTF:
Locate the culprit font on a PC that has this font and copy into
a common location (server). Look in "C:\windows\Fonts".
On the destination PC, using your favorite file manager, find that file,
right-click and select the line that says "Install Font...".
Restart AutoCAD.

Here what they are looks like, We are using the same CAD2015 version. I also suspect on the Service Pack they may have. I'll check on them. Thanks.

Above and beyond the suggestions already offered by others on this thread, I've run into similar issues where the root cause was that the "same" SHX file was being loaded multiple times. You might wonder how can that happen?

The answer is in the way AutoCAD loads SHX fonts from support directories. If I have a S:\AutoCAD Support\Fonts directory with a file named font.shx, and my C:\program files\autodesk\autocad 2017\fonts directory also has a file named font.shx within it - AutoCAD will choose one of these two files.

Based on that experience, I would also recommend looking at your "Font" support directories, and make sure none of your SHX files are duplicated.

If for some reason duplicates cannot be avoided, put the path whose version should win higher in the list of support paths. That will force AutoCAD to read that version of the SHX first.
