Font not displaying correctly.

I am using the "Bakersville" style font in areas of my AutoCAD drawings but it is not displaying correctly. When looking at the properties of the text it says that the style is Bakersville but it is not displaying correctly. I have sent the drawings to a coworker and when he views the drawing the text is displayed correctly. I have reinstalled AutoCAD and ensured that my support file search path is correct but neither of these have fixed the issue and I am unsure of what to do now. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Have you checked to make sure the font type exists in the fonts folder? Usually under Program files --> AutoDesk --> AutoCAD 20XX (whichever year your version is) --> Fonts

Your co-worker may have the font file but for some reason you may not which could explain why it isn't working. If they do and you need it just have them e-mail it to you or put on a USB stick and paste it into your font folder.

Hi @Anonymous,

Please verify that the font exists in the font path. Is this a TTF or SHX font?  If the font cannot be found, the drawing will display using the font specified in the variable Fontalt.

If you are using the Windows font with this name, it is possible that the font is damaged. Does it work in other programs?

Can you attach a sample of your drawing for me to examine? I would like to see if the font appears properly for me.  Please tell me which version of AutoCAD you are using.
