I am having trouble doing flatshots in Autocad 2015.
Previously it was working fine. Now on the same drawing, that has been working, it is giving message that there are no solid objects.
Also it has done flatshots previously, where it has left 'block' objects out of otherwise successful flatshot.
I am working in model space to do flatshots; all objects are x-ref'd in. There are not any x-ref within x-refs.
I tried changing all x-refs from overlay to attach but it made no difference.
Thanks,
Stewart
Can you post a DWG with the problem here for others to examine?
Is there a logical reason you are trying to use flatshot rather than viewbase command?
I have never used viewbase. It seems that it works only in the paperspace from what I read on the internet. I use flatshot to extract the front, back and side views and modify it to give it more details, and dimension it to produce working drawing in modelspace itself. Can I do these things using viewbase?

Modelspace is for 3D models.
Paperspace is for 2D views and detailing.
Exactly what viewbase is for.
