Find and Replace - number of entries in pulldown

First time to ask a question, usually I can find an answer by searching Google, but not this time

When using the find (and replace) dialog, the "Find what" and "Replace with" pull downs only hold 6 items and if a 7tth is entered, the first one entered is replaced

Does anyone know if there a system setting to increase the number of items these pull downs retain?

This seems to be hardcoded instead of a user defined setting.
