Fillet not working

The fillet command on my machine no longer seems to work. I have sent the .DWG to my colleague and it works fine for him.

I have carried out searches on the web and this forum but found no answers. below is the command history

FILLET
Current settings: Mode = NOTRIM, Radius = 0.00000000
Select first object or [Undo/Polyline/Radius/Trim/Multiple]:
Select second object or shift-select to apply corner or [Radius]:

Both lines are on Z=0, as far as I can tell.

I have a lot of badly drawn drawings (supplied by others) and the fillet command, where radii is set to 0 is a great time saver.

If I change the radii to give me a radius, it does a radius but leaves behind a bit of one of the lines, not trimming it out I think.

It did use to work ok.

Any advice please.

many thanks.

You are in mode NOTRIM !

Choose the Trim option and change it 😉

by doing the next trimming.

Or change the variable TRIMMODE to 1

@cr74steve,

Try setting your REGENMODE Variable to <1>

Thought that that might be the case but can not seem to find to reset trim mode. Can you give me a dummies guide please.
