Files not opening/ saving as DWG

Due to my files not saving as a DWG I am not able to open my CAD files using the software. 
I have uninstalled the programme and reinstalled twice, this problem is still reoccurring. 
please help 🙂

windows cannot find 'c:\program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2023\acad.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again.

That is odd: is this perhaps just a problem of you not having file extensions on in Windows File Manager and you assume whatever wrong label got assigned to DWG files means they are somehow all gone?

You'll need to show us what you mean, what you see and where you see it, with lots of screenshots.
