file size gets bigger

This file gets bigger and bigger whatever I do.

I tried auditing, purging, pasting to a different file, saving to latest version.

I can't figure out if the file actually has to many lines or if there is something wrong with it.

can anyone help me?

Start by changing your ISAVEPERCENT to 0 and saving a few times.

Hi,

all this happened because of the hatch  . you have a lot of hatch and with transparent . try to separate your file components and start to attache them as an xrefs . also clean your dwg to delete all registered elements bu Purge ( reg) command .

Hi

This file was sent to us from a landscape group. They used a lot of hatches, wipeouts and excessive drawings.

Saving to another file makes the biggest difference but I guess it needs to be cleaned out and it's not a systematic problem. I gave up 🙂 sent the file back and reported on how they need to do their next drawings.

This file was created and sent to us by another group, I didn't realize they used transparencies, thank you for pointing out.
