Field insertion problem to a custom sheet set

hi,

I've created a new custom sheet title (total sheets no.) to link it to my title block using "field", however when I tried to insert a field into my attribute block in the title block, I couldn't locate the custom sheet title that I've created, not under the "current sheet custom" nor "current sheet set custom".

Can you please assist me with that?

Hi,

You want to create a custom titleblock that can be used as a default template for your Project Navigator Sheets. click here

Hi @t.bamuqabel,

Is it possible to share your SheetSet and your titleblock where you are trying capture this custom field?  Which version of AutoCAD are you using?

If your data needs to be private or confidential, please email it directly to me at john.vellek@autodesk.com and please include a link to this thread in your email.

Hi Mr. Vellek,

First off thanks for your help, I've attached a screenshot which explains the issue, "SS1" is where I created the custom property in the sheet set (total sheets no.), and "SS2" is where I couldn't locate the created custom property in the field window. What I need to do is to change the value of the (total sheets no.) in my title block from the sheet set manager.

My autoCAD version is 2018.

Sincerely,

Hi Jayhar,

Thx for replying, however I was able to create a custom property, what I couldn't do is find it in the field window which enables me to insert the value of it from the sheet set manager.

Hi @t.bamuqabel,

I created a custom property in my sheetset such as you did and had no problems linking a field to it.  As a temporary workaround, you could put this text value into your titleblock if it is Xref-ed so it will show up properly.

To troubleshoot this further I would need to see your files.
