Is it possible to edit/add the Field Category and Field Names? i added a property set and was wondering if i can add

them to the Field Category and Field Names.

That pop-up list is static, not user editable.

Perhaps there are other ways for you to reuse your custom field though: tell us what is it, what is it for, and more, lets see what else you can try.

Hi,

It's not possible to create a new or edit the field category, but you can add a new field name into the "Document" field category by using "DWGPROPS" command. To do that open the DWGPROPS and then select the "Custom" tab, now click on "ADD" to add a custom property.

Now you will be able to set this as a field.

hi, thanks for you input. I did added a custom property but the property set I added is part of

the extended data which I manually type in the information for that certain object or block.

I was trying to create an attribute block with field data so I can extract the information from the extended

data I created.
