Facets/triangles still visible when converting mesh to 3D solid

Hi. I have a problem about facets of mesh. I am trying to make a flatshot from an object but it if it is imported as polymesh you cannot do that. So it has to be converted to mesh and then solid. But when the object is converted to solid triangles/facets remain on the object, which is then visible on the flatshot and the lines need to be deleted one by one, which is time consuming. Does any fuction exists, which turns off these facets/triangles when solid is converted from mesh?

I think there is a way. Could you attache here your CAD dwg (or part from) for testing please?

@rok_ceh1

Thanks for the CAD dwg file.

Those edges are part of the geometry and i doubt (for me) that could be fixed. Sorry.

You may need a good fix treatment from the origin source program.
