Exporting DWG to PDF can I choose a custom paper size?

I am trying to export a dwg file to pdf and am having a problem. Is there anyway that you can have a custom paper size like you can for plotting. I have some very large drawings and would like to set the paper size accordingly.

                 Thanks,

Hi,

1. You need a ready (named) pagesetup, if the current doesn't match your needs

but

2. Why do you use EXPORTPDF , instead of PLOT?

Hi,

  • Setting the Paper Size: You can create a custom paper size in AutoCAD by entering specific dimensions in the Page Setup Manager or Plot Settings. However, you must ensure the plotter or printer can physically handle the paper length you enter.
  • Paper Length Limit: The maximum length in AutoCAD for custom paper size depends on your printer/plotter's settings. In AutoCAD, you can enter any length within the capabilities of your printer/plotter, but it may be constrained by physical or driver limitations.

Try to increase paper length value till you reach for the max value.

PLOT command, help yourself, you've been able to add custom sheet sizes for decades now.
Leave "export" to those times when you'd rather not have any control over output and prefer to use someone else' presets.

Hi, the custom paper size pdf is actually controlled from the printer settings within your page layout/plot  command. You can see my example below,

i used Foxit PDF Editor as the PDF printer. it has features to create custom papers for pdf exporting. from there you can set the custom paper and export them as you want.
