Export file format for editing in Adobe suite

I need to translate the text of an instruction manual made with AutoCAD by a manufacturer. I need to make versions in other languages. I don't use and have AutoCAD. I would like to be able to have access to an editable file where I can search and replace strings of text. For example, in a app part of Adobe Suite for example Acrobat DC. What kind of file type I should ask for (file export in AutoCad)?

You can ask for a PDF and then run the PDF through a PDF editor that has OCR.

Ask for a PDF with editable text.
