export autocad features to solidworks

I'm not sure this is the right forum, but still: I'm trying to export autoCAD 3d-Solids to STEP. Solids are created in AutoCAD, then I use AutoCAD Mechanical to export to STEP. Our supplier opens the STEP-file into Solidworks. So far, so good.

Problem starts when I want to name the solid. I tried to attach a hyperlink, but that gets lost either when I convert to STEP or when importing the STEP into Solidworks.

So I tried to wblock every single solid and convert them individually to STEP. Now Solidworks gets the AUtoCAD Handle, instead of the blockname. So no solution again.

Now I'm out of options. Ideally I use AutoCAD to create the solids and only use AutoCAD Mechanical to convert the dwg to STEP. Any thoughts how to keep the name of the solid until in Solidworks?

I have worked in Solidworks a lot and the problem lies within Solidworks. The issue is that most items are imported as just "bodies" and Solidworks names them based on that. If there is a work around it would more than likely be within a feature of Solidworks.
