Exploded 3D veiw of assembly drawing

I need to take a 3D drawing of a cabinet (for example) and explode the drawing so each part is moved from the center point of the object outwards.

This is allow the assembly crew to better see each separate part on the drawing.  I used to have an Acad addon called 3D burst which was PERFECT!  but the website is down and I can't locate it.

Try using the separate feature in solids editing, but thats unlikely to work.

• Click the home tab
• solids editing panel
• solids editing drop down
• separate command

Otherwise, there is no way to pull things apart like that in AutoCad. You would have to use an external editor for that.

Thanks so much for finding the website.  Unfortunately, that's the version I currently own.  I bought it years ago but it no longer works with current versions. Let alone that just today I am now using Acad 2018.  I am still going to try to install it and see what happens.  The contact email got bounced back when I asked for support.
