Exception in aecbase.dbx AEC Command

Folks,

All of a sudden I'm getting this error when opening files in AutoCAD 2023. Many, many files across many separate offices (I'm freelance CAD consultant).

 

• The dialog pops up twice (always twice)
• AutoCAD does not crash.
• Clicking OK to each one gets me into the file with no further issues.
• Saving is fine.

Autodesk says it could be file corruption but Audit/Recover finds no errors. Purging Reg Apps does nothing. They then say to export the file as a PDF and then reimport but do ing that to (quite literally) thousands of files, with xrefs, others with geolocation, etc. is not a viable option.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Quick update. On a hunch I uninstalled the Civil3D object enabler and the error disappeared.

Now, this is great but we need the Civil 3D Object enabler.

Anyone have the same issue?
