Every Time when I open a drawing in auto cad-2010. Drawing open in a new auto cad window.

Are you opening AutoCAD 2010, then running the OPEN command, then selecting a DWG?

Or are you double-clicking DWG files in Windows Explorer?

Or something else?

In AutoCAD type SDI, verify its set to 0.

Thanks for your reply.

I am opening drawing in the file explorer only.
But I got the solution I have just changed the properties.
If the same problem persist kindly follow the below mentioned procedure.

Just right click on the drawing file the properties window of the drawing
will pop-up
just go the general bar and change open with option from AutoCAD
application to AutoCAD launcher.

For the reference. I have attached a paint file.
