Esri shapefile to 3d polylines

Can anyone give me any guidance of how I can import an esri shapefile as a 3D drawing? There are pipes and chambers with levels in the shapefile and I need them as a cad drawing with 3d points and strings.

Hi,

i think that it's NOT applicable by plain AutoCAD !!! AutoCAD MAP 3D will do that .

I'm not sure how to do it with Map 3D either. I can import the shapefile but not with a z vertex

Cheryl,
"I can import the shapefile but not with a z vertex."
It's a 2-stepper, using attach and query. A little un-intuitive. Read >>>Here<<<.
If you have trouble with it, post again in the >>>Map 3D Forum<<<.
