I'm running AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 on Windows 10, and quite often (but not every time) I edit any form of text (text, mtext, or multileader text) I get an error:
; warning: unwind skipped on unknown exception
When this happens, my quick access bar grays out, my command line and ribbon freeze, and I can't do pretty much anything. Nevertheless, I can still edit the text I'm in. When I click out of the text, the ribbon still shows the text editor tab and the command line still shows me in the text edit command. Interestingly, if I just click on the command line (no where else works), it takes me out of the text editor and returns the quick access bar to it's normal appearance, though everything remains frozen. At this point, I have to close out AutoCAD and restart the program.
This happens on any drawing, it's not drawing specific. It doesn't happen every time I edit text though (maybe 5% of the time). I've tried, unsuccessfully, to figure out a common denominator in all the times I get this error, there doesn't seem to be any pattern. I've even tried repairing my installation of AutoCAD, without success.
Does anyone know what's causing this?
