i already googled and found nothing
i am taking drafting class at my college and i need to be able to do homework
i signed up for a 3 year trial through the student site and did a browser download
even when i selected the trial during the installation wizard (wich i did in the installation shown in the attatched video), it still asks me to activate and then says error 110
i have tried reinstalling multiple times and i still get the same error
i saw a solution on the forum but it was for 2010 and 2011
what do i do?
i'm going to uninstall and clear the registry then reinstall and see what happens
i closed all programs befor installing...even my antivirus software (malwarebytes)

No, no, no.
If you already have it installed in 30-day trial mode you don't want to uninstall.
All you need to do is Activate the license some time in the next 30 days.
What version of Windows are you running.
Are Autodesk products even supported on Windows 10?
Maybe there will be an update in the next 30 days?
30 days? are you sure?
also i installed trial mode and uninstalled like 4 times already. how screwed am i?
i have a key
i wish i could activate but it wont let me
did you watch my video?

You can run in 30-day trial mode while getting permanent solution to 3-yr Activation cleared up.
I did not watch your video as it was not created with Autodesk Screencast.
Hi,

If you would have seen it his "Try it" button is greyed out.
(and to create videos on Screencast is not a must to document issues of someone, is it?)
@Anonymous
Have you tried the options within the link @JDMather showed in his post?
There are 3 updates to be installed for Windows 10, maybe this helps to get your activation enabled.
And also create a new user on your system, full admin permissions, login with that Windows account, turn off Antivirus, turn off UAC, start AutoCAD then with right click and option "start as administrator" (hopefully that is available in Windows 10, I don't have one currently).

i just tried on the current account to run as administrator and it worked
ALFRED YOU ARE A GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH
Hi,
great to know it worked for you, thank you for your feedback!

You can click on any link you like.
I keep my main machine squeaky clean and don't go to certain websites.
I don't experience the problems posted here daily.
So to answer your question, if someone wants me to click a link - it must be to a site that I have approved.
Hi,
>> it must be to a site that I have approved
Hey, it's YouTube, nothing unknown for most on the world (and I also have not heard of any security issues when looking a YouTube video as long as you don't click on links overlayed to that videos).
