embedding TIF file into autocad LT 2016

Using AutoCad LT 2016. Trying in insert a TIF file and have part of the autocad drawing and NOT an external reference. Any tips on how to do this?

Someone asked this question just before you:

Let me rephrase my question. I have several AutoCad LT 2016 drawings with a tif file attached, I need to somehow change the tif so that it is embedded in the drawing and not just attached. Possible?

I don't know if LT works the same, but for full AutoCAD you can open the tif with an editor such as paint, make a selection and CTRL+C to copy it to the clipboard. Then in AutoCAD use CTRL+V to paste it in and it is part of the drawing and not a reference.

@Anonymous Copy and paste should work, it will turn into an embeded object.
