Dynamic Block Layers Problem

I have created many dynamic blocks. As I insert them into my drawing file they do not show up in Layout space. I have the objects within the block set to the layers I want and after inserting the blocks I changed the layer of the block from "0" to the layer I want them on, "A-Furn". All other objects, that are not blocks, on "A-Furn" layer are displayed in the layout. What am I missing?

is it possible the layers used to create the blocks are set with New VP Freeze or VP Freeze options? Note the 2nd option is only visible in the layer properties manager window while a Layout tab is active.

I already checked that. They are all on and thawed.

Thanks

I created one block with dynamic properties and one without. The one without dynamic properties works fine for the layers. Got to be something in creating the dynamic block.

Annotative or not annotative blocks (or entities)?

So you do see them in model space, but not in the layout?

Are the missing entities bolcks themsevles (embedded blocks)?

Post a file if all else fails and some of us can look into it...

Figured it out. I used "Block" command to create the block that did not show the layers in layout. I used 'Wblock" to create the same block and then the layers showed up in Layout. Added dynamic properties to both. Only difference  is how I started to create the block.
