dwg with PDF issues

Hi,

after attaching PDF file, and scrolling down to it, autocad is getting very slow, is there a solution to that?

what it your CAD version ? 

how did you insert the pdf file ?

Inserted and ‘Attached’ PDFs will always give you herky-jerky slow performance. Instead of PDF insert a jpeg (or another type of image format). If you have a PDF creator, not just a PDF reader, you can do easily without any noticeable resolution issues.

 

With the PDF OPENED in Adobe, click File/Export to/Image=>here is where you may select the format of your choice, jpeg, tiff, etc. 

 

Note: Depending on your version of Adobe, your export procedure may vary. Your goal is to save the PDF as  in an image format. 

 

Now you may insert the jpeg instead of the PDF. You amy compare the final document using PDF vs jpeg.
