DWG resaves duplicate dwg when multiple users are in dwg at once. How to make all drawings read only when in use?

sounds like your network operating system is failing to do its job to lock users out when another has the file opened

@jbeckW3VSP ,

I agree with @paullimapa , contact your network administrator to identify the issue.

Also, make sure you AutoCAD is current with the updates.

Otherwise, try the same suggestion as if the file was read-only.

@jbeckW3VSP Are you by chance relying on a web-based file storage service?
Or a NAS drive?

Multiple users in the same file shouldn't happen, ever.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
