Driver no longer works on Windows 10

I recently upgraded a client computer to Windows 10 due to Microsoft discontinuing support for Windows 7. After the upgrade, AutoCAD no longer recognizes the print driver for his plotter. He's using an HP DesignJet 800 ps 42" - Product number is C7780C. I worked with HP support and they were able to help determine it wasn't the driver. We can successfully print from Adobe to the plotter.

Is there something I'm missing?

I did some digging on this same topic about a year ago.  We had an older 800ps plotter that we wanted to use. After searching around for a new driver for windows 10 and not finding anything we contacted HP. They told us that the plotter was at the end of life. This is why we could not find a driver that worked for Windows 10.

Because of this problem we just purchased a new plotter.
