Drawings only open in paper space (AutoCAD 2019)

I just updated to AutoCAD 2019 and every drawing opens up in paper space regardless of whether I save in model space or not. This is very frustrating. Please send me a fix ASAP!! ("Tilemode" is set to 0 by default)

Hi,

not sure, just an idea:

Start command _CUI, select your workspace and look to the "Start On" setting, is it set to "Layout"?
