Hi all, ive been managing around the software until i tried to dot a line to make it look as though it was travelling behind an object.  This is all well and good on the model until i look at layout.  Why does this reestablish a solid line on printout, and how do i keep the dots/dash?

You need to change the Linetype Scale in the properties window by selecting the dotted lines.

Hi, its says 1 then a calculator appears, do i just put 0.5 or similar?

when i change it to 0.5 the lines are smaller and they disappear in layout?

Hey,

Agile in the paperspace, make the viewport active and set PSLTSCALE  to 0. Do a REGEN and let us know the result.

In the area highlighted below you can enter any scale value.

the important thing is to keep to keep the same scale fatod used in your Viewport

What's the value for the system variable PSLTSCALE while in the paperspace (make sure your viewport is active begre you invoke the command)?

try to pick inside your viewport and change PSLTSCALE value .

What are your settings for LTSCALE, PSLTSCALE and MSLTSCALE in modelspace in that DWG file?
And what is the PSLTSCALE set to inside that viewport in that layout?
