Divide points not showing

Divide points not showing after running divide command. Even after running ddptype and selecting a point style.

I've never had this problem before. Is this a new bug?

Hi,

no points, no points displaying.

Doublechecked that there are points? Command qselect, filter or ssx

layer on?

Shademode to 2Dwireframe?

What did you select in PTYPE command?

and if you try to select them with a window, are they actually present by chance?

For most of us users running REGEN or REGENALL commands after zooming out a bit with the mouse scroll wheel will reveal them every single time (if they are there of course).

That's the PDMODE System Variable.  There's also PDSIZE -- look into that, numerically or in the lower part of the DDPTYPE dialog box.

Aha, Looks like the divide points were somehow set to defpoints.

Good to go now.

Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction. No pun intended 😉

Check  the PDMODE.

"3" shows the point as an "X".

"1"  shows the Point as a dot.

We keep the setting at "1' so that we don't have a bunch of Xs all over the screen.
