it is hard to identify the root reaso. there are some possible suggesions for you
1: check your feature line style, to see if you turned off the display.
2: check the layer you are using, make sure you did not freeze it
3: please disable your hardware acceleration if you opened it.
hope it helps
Hi,
At the moment based on your description, it looks more like a graphics issue. Can you check whether you have a certified card and a driver installed from the link below,
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/syscert?id=18844534&siteID=123112
Also, you may want to turn off hardware acceleration and see whether it goes off,
Hope it helps.

Video Card is on list and recommended. Accelerator is on. I will try turning it off.
If the template was created from acad.dwt you'll possibly see this type of behavior. Typically all the feature lines disappear for some unknown reason and it isn't because the user deleted them.

Our template was created from .dwt. What is the alternative? Is there a way to convert our template so that this behavior goes away?
That issue has been discussed on the forums many times. I personally don't know of a way to fix it other than to recreate the template from the NCS template. It might be possible to begin with the OOTB Civil NCS template, use the Import Styles command to import the Standard styles from acad.dwt and purge the NCS styles then import the styles from your current template that's based on acad.dwt.
Here's one of the posts discussing the issue.

Actually you should be able to just create a drawing from the NCS template and use the Import tool to add new style, modify existing styles, and remove all unused styles based on the acad.dwt based template. There are a few additional things that need to be done though such as the items listed in this post. Note that parts lists don't get imported either. That's noted in the comments of that posting.

The irony here is that this issue was fixed in a service pack to 2015 during AU last year. So, if you're at least running C3D 2015 with that service pack, the issue should resolve itself. I would be interested to find out if it does in fact resolve for you...
@ODO18, based on @Kevin.Spear's post, which version and service pack of Civil 3D are you using? Did you get your issue resolved?
