Disappeared DWG?

Dear people at this Forum:

I can't find a DWG which I did yesterday on Autocad 2012 on Windows 10 pro and don't know with what name did I saved it.

Is there a way to retrieve it with the date I saved it?

Please help, it was a very large DWG and I can't reproduce it (it would take me DAYS!)

Hi,

you can start AutoCAD and then in the list of the drawing history you should see your last saved dwg-files.

I suggest to click (select button) on the big A letter ( upper left ) to get the latest drawings list . you may find it there . 🙂

The default list contains 9 elements, if you have worked with more than 9 dwg-files then yes, then you won't find it in the history.

Then it's up to you to use the Windows Explorer with it's search functionality to find files save with the date of yesterday (>>>details<<<).

I suggest from the search window ( Upper right )in windows dialog to type   *.dwg   . after that try to arrange it by date .
