Dimensions with Text - Not centered.

Hello,

I am currently running into an issue with AutoCAD 2025, whenever adding text to the dimension like OVERALL or TEST; It moves the text object down into the dimension line, leaving a gap above.

Please see attached images, let me know if there is anything else I can attach to help point me in the right directection.

What else is after 'overall' and 'test'?

I see no issues here in 2025.1 (aka fully updated)

Setting it to just <>\POVERALL:

I also saw that when searching for this issue, to set the dim suffix to "\X, which it already was.

@pendeanI unfortunately can't due to it being an internal template.

Though I did replicate the issue in a standard AutoCAD Template, by customizing the Dimension Style to display alternate units, and having it below the primary value; This is what causes it, specifically the placement.

Thanks for the screenshot: that's an AutoCAD shortcoming that is not limited to the 2025version.

That "below" option appears to be a very odd offset-like placement.

This fixes that issue, but creates another issue...

There may not be a fix, but you'll need to share your actual DWG file portion of that screenshot. Ask your IT/bosses for permission or reach back out to Autodesk support to continue.
