Hi all,
Newbie to AutoCAD here (using an AutoCAD 2020 trial, on a Mac).
I'm trying to add dimensions to my drawing. When I add a linear dimension, the text height is tiny. I've gone into dimensions > dimension style > ISO-25 (I'm drawing in metric units) and clicked the modify icon. I've changed the text height from the preset 2.5 to 10, so see if it made a noticeable difference. When I added another linear dimension, the text height hadn't changed. I thought I may have had to set this into the template at the beginning, so I closed the drawing, created a new one, changed the dimension text height and tried again, but it hadn't changed.
I've gone to Format > text style > text height and this is set to 0. It says here that if it is set at 0, it will use the previous dimension height settings. I'm not sure if I actually need to change something here?
I haven't currently set up layers in my drawing.
Please help, thank you!
