Dimension text dimgap with alt dimension below

AutoCAD 2016

I'm trying to do metric and imperial dimensions with the stacked fractions below.  When I grip edit the locations the fraction moves into the leader part of the dimesion.  The only grip edit that works is center vertically but you get a short leader.

@Anonymous Could you please post a sample drawing? Is this a fairly new issue with AutoCAD 2016?

Hello

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !

1) It could be a bug ! ... But please post a DWG as asked Autodesk ...

2) Have you installed the SP1 for ACAD 2016 ?

No I haven't installed it yet I will ask our CAD Administrator to do it and will let you know if it fixes it.  Thanks for your help.

I've installed AutoCAD 2016 SP1, I didn't notice any change when having to move dimensions around.

To fix this issue, you must do one of two things:

1. Change DIMGAP to adjust for the additional text height that your stacked dimension affords.

2. Change the Fraction Height Scale in the Dimension Manager inside the Text tab.

Thanks I've tried your sugestions, and

1. Change DIMGAP to adjust for the additional text height that your stacked dimension affords.

I increased from 1.5875 up to 4.0 without any success in regards to the alternate stacked fraction.

2. Change the Fraction Height Scale in the Dimension Manager inside the Text tab.

The only way I could change the Fraction Height Scale (grayed out) was to change my primary units from Decimal to Architectual then on the text tab I changed it from 1 through .5 before it worked but the fraction is so much smaller.

I did find a work around that I'll probably use. I changed my alternate Units to Architectural instead of

Architectural Stacked.  It does take up more room for small dimensions.  I wish you could do diagional stacked fractions like in MText.
