Putting Dimension line in model workspace works fine, but when I do a rendering, there are only arrows and dim text. how do i get the lines shown?

I feel like the arrows doesn't do any good, when there are no lines.

What do I do?

You want 2D dimensions to show up in 3D renderings? Move them above the plane you have them on so they do not get swallowed up.

I think I understand what you mean.

they are already 0.5 mm above the wood 3D box below.

I tried removing the wooden box underneath, so there was nothing below, but got same result.

Did I misunderstand you?

Explode the dimension lines and then change the weight value from 0 to a small value (e.g., 0.01) and render.

Note, your part is over dimensioned!!  A big no-no.  Delete one of the following dimensions 25, or 35, or 60.  Having all 3 causes a conflict when tolerances are considered.  You only need 2 of them to construct the part.
