Dimension isn't working properly

Hello,

I bought a computer a couple weeks ago and installed autocad (2017, 64bits) from autodesk, the student version. I am making a project and whenever i use the dimension command it doesn't work: instead of appearing the dimentions, there only appears a square where it was suppused to appear the numbers.

I have been trying to solve this for 2 days now. I've tried everything: changing all sorts of properties (letters, DIMs, scale, you name it), changing the screen resolution (mines 4k), unnistalling and installing again and the problem continues.

Does anyone has any idea how to solve this? It's starting to drive me nuts... yo.PNG

And your teacher was not able to help in 2-days? Curious why not.

It appears you have QTEXTMODE turned on, it's time to turn it off: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/AutoC...
