Dim Break not working in model space

I’m trying to put a break in a multileader that crosses through a dimension. It works in paper space but not in model space. To confirm this, I created a dimension and multileader in paper space then copied them to model space and the dim break disappeared.

I have changed to Dimension Break size (set to 4.00) for both the dimensions and leaders.

Changes are the dimension and leader are at different elevations. Try using the flatten command on the dimension and leader and see if it appears.

I tried this but it did not work. Thanks for the tip though, will use that in the future.

I can't, but I have determined that it is an issue with the dwg itself. I created a dummy drawing to test and it worked just fine. When I open the dwg in 2020 version, the break appears just fine.

I believe it was an error in the dwg itself. Thanks for your replies, got it sorted now.
