Dialog Box Sizing / Issues

Dialog Box & other miscellaneous settings:

To All Users,

I’ve recently run into what I would say are “Basic Dialog Box Settings” issue(s) since getting an upgrade to windows 11. The 2 basic issues are editing dialog boxes not showing the entire box (cutting edges off or not allowing you to reset or resize the dialog box), or the “Tool bar” box / icons being set way to small.

(refer to the attachments, or refer to the pictures below):

BTW, just to clarify, I (we) use the old-fashioned Tool Bars instead of the Ribbon, or Tool Pallets to increase screen size or the working area but, I’d still would like to see the proper Icon, or Dialog Box.

As usual, “Thanks in Advance” for any ideas, or suggestions to help with this issue.

Regards,

Milt Fitz, (a.k.a.: Drafter1981)

Usually this is controlled by Windows.  Are you using Windows 11?  I don't think Windows 11 likes to play well with that older AutoCAD look.  The ribbon is designed to work better in the newer versions of Windows.   I too have been using AutoCAD since the 1980's.  I learned on a DOS system (you can guess my age from there).  I liked the old way for the longest time, but since there are no updates to pull-down menus and toolbars, Autodesk is putting all the new features in the ribbon, and rumor has it that the ability to use the classic view will eventually go away, it might be worth testing to see if you can see the text in the newer view.
