Design Center and Tool Palettes

There is about 5 of us in my company that work on creating Facility layouts. I have a CAD background and have been working on teaching myself AutoCAD. In this process I have been trying to make a simpler way for my fellow engineers to create facility layouts that do not have a CAD background. I created a Template drawing for them to use that had saved blocks for machinery and basic drawing needs such as electrical, data, water symbols and doors and furniture they can just add. Some were still having difficulty having to insert blocks and such. I started to do some research and had some advice given to me on a previous post of mine on here to create tool palettes and use the design center for my blocks.

From that post I began to fix my blocks as suggested and did some research on tool palettes and design center to try to learn more. I created some things on my personal computer and a tool palette with all my blocks that has made my life easier and I know will help my fellow engineers. Now I have notice that if I save the Template I created it and another engineer opens up that drawing from the network on their computer it does not show the tool palette I created nor any of the design center things.

My question is if there is a way to save these settings to the Template itself or the tool palettes so that others can use it? Also is there a way to get the Design center to work with the network folders so that I can create a little template there with sample blocks and stuff like those you can buy for houses that have bathroom, kitchen, etc. blocks?

I attached the template I created with blocks I have created to this post for your reference and so that you can see what I am trying to do for the others. Thank you for all your help in advance.

HIi @Anonymous,

I see that you are exploring the user of shared Tool Palettes to make collaboration easier on your projects.  I found this video that should get you started on how to share your palettes over a network.  If you get stuck or need more assistance, please add a post and I will be happy to assist.

There is a good tutorial called AutoCAD Tool Palettes Master Class (Planning and Preparation, Not Perspiration) which can be found on the Autodesk university site. I found it useful when setting up palettes for our network users.....Link below.
