DELOBJ 0 value is not working ?

I set DELOBJ to 0 and applied region on already regioned object but I see no copy of original object. where is the problem ?

Note: If the SURFACEASSOCIATIVITY system variable is set to 1, the DELOBJ setting is ignored.
