Deleting extrude without losing sketch

Hi, when I'm deleting an extrude I lose my sketch which the extrude is made from. How do I delete the extrude without touching the sketch?

Kind regards

Joakim

Hi,

>> How do I delete the extrude without touching the sketch?

You can use/activate SELECTIONCYCLING (>>>details<<<) so you get a popup for all objects under the cursor position to choose which object you want to select.

But let's see another systemvariable: DELOBJ (>>>details<<<) ... maybe the base object for extrusion already is deleted after you created and extrusion from it 😉

You may want to try PRESSPULL instead of EXTRUDE.

It leaves the sketch entities behind.

For the future consider taking advantage of the delobj setting options.

once you delete and realize the error   CTRL Z and put the extrusion back, CTRL Z again and undo the extrusion

or eXplode the extrusion once, and then you can delete individual surfaces and not the entire object.

Then set the delobj and proceed properly
