Data Link Issues

I have a drawing that has two Data Links.  When I open the file I get a message "Data Link Has Changed - A data link has changed.  Any tables using this data link may need to be updated - Update table using the data link: XXX"  I tell it to update and it does.  But when I try to Edit or Add a Data Link   I get a window stating "The data link cannot be created because Excel cannot be found"  And in this specific case I'm trying to edit an existing link.  Please help?  TIA!

Sorry for the lack of details.

AutoCAD 2025/AutoCAD Electrical 2025, PV: 22.0.93.0, built on V.154.0.0 AutoCAD 2025.1.1.

Excel:  Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2511 Build 16.0.19426.20042) 64-bit

Running on Windows 11.

I went through many of these steps previously and it was working just fine, at least until today.  Is it common to have this stop working?  If so, this doesn't seem like a very reliable means of getting data from Excel into ACAD or ACADE.

Have you tried just running AutoCAD instead of AutoCAD Electrical to see if the same problem occurs?

Perhaps try shutting down the computer and then turn it back on as a fresh start to see if that makes a difference.

You could also try creating a new Windows User login with Local Admin rights and then login as that user to see if that fixes the problem too.

Just tried restarting the computer and that didn't have any effect - same error.  Tried using base ACAD and it pushes the same error.

Dummy question - how do I submit a ticket to Autodesk?  Didn't know I could do that...

I first tried to repair the Access 2016 stuff - didn't help.  I repaired Office 365 and Datalinks started working again.  Here's to hoping that it doesn't break again.
