Data Link Cell Formatting Default Setting

Is there a setting, variable or registry entry that controls the data link cell formatting default check box option for "Use Excel Formatting"?

If the data link "More Options" is not expanded and reviewed by the user, the cell formatting is checked by default causing AutoCAD to import MS Sans Serif font with formatting codes into table.  A Client has a drawing viewer that does not recognize this font and prompts them with missing font dialog box.

If I uncheck the excel format box, create the data link & table, the next time I start AutoCAD it is checked again by default.

Hi

I am having the same issue and would love an answer.

I have found adding a blank table keeps the correct styles. then link it to the Data link  works best.

For some reason create a table from data link does not use the table Styles.
