Data extraction

In extraction we can extract data of polyline as length if open and length and area if closed polyline But how to extract name or text or label marked or drawn on site to/near polyline as name of polyline for perticular entity (like A1,B1 written on/close to segment for polylines and to be extracted as name A1 and polyline length in next cell in extracted data for each entity also if we select closed polyline for area then name written inside block on drawing to be extracted as name of entity and its measurements area, circumference in next cells in data extracted) how to assign particular polyline segment with single line text written close or inside it so that it can be extracted in data extraction as name identity for perticular polyline segment data

Hi,

Not possible for CAD systems, that is a GIS functionality to give polylines additional attributes.

If you have AutoCAD Map 3D (or Civil 3D) then let is know that, for plain AutoCAD (without development) no chance.

Even if you have a text close to a polyline, what happens when this text is close to 2 polylines? or one polyline and 2 text objects are close to it?

If you are on subscription (not maintenance), Map3D is available to you to use for that ability.
