Does this problem occur on all drawings or just this particular one.
If on all dwgs, then I would try creating a new windows user account with local admin rights, log in as that new user, run AutoCAD and do the Dataextraction again to see if the same error reappears.
If only on this particular dwg, perhaps there's some corruption in the file that news to be opened using the RECOVER command or after opening use the AUDIT command to fix.
