Autocad 2016 SP1
Using the Data Extraction Wizard I am experiencing an error while selecting blocks in my file. Steps:
In a saved file:
-‘DATAEXTRACTION’
-‘Create a new data extraction’
-Data Source: ‘Select Objects in the current drawing’
-after selecting the blocks that I want to be included in the selection and pressing enter, a window pops up asking “Do you want to quit the Data Extraction Wizard?”
-Click No, data extraction wizard still closes
I have several data extractions in a file that display attributes from different instances of the same block. I need to update the extraction to include changes that were made to some of the blocks.
What I have tried:
-Reset my settings to default
-Create new data extractions instead of updating the existing
-Start new file, try to extract a different block
Data extraction works if the data source is set to “Drawings/Sheet set (Include current drawing)”.
