Data Extraction - Blocks with attributes

I recently used The Data Extraction routine to get the coordinates for many blocks in a drawing. The blocks are proposed points for a large site.

After doing the extraction and exporting to Excel I noticed the table has two sets of points, one for the block point and the other for the insertion point of the attribute value. These are a few metres apart using proper coordinate space.

Without doing manipulation in Excel, is there a way to get a table that has the exact coordinates of the block insertion with the attribute value in the same row but different column?

Currently the rows in Excel have the coordinates for the block insertion point and another for the coordinates of the attribute value insertion point.

Hi,

You can filter by object type or blockname, to only export some specific items.

But I'm not sure what you meant by "set of points ... insertion point of the attribute value". Can you upload a dwg-file with that 2 types of objects, your DXE-file + the result you get?

I may have jumped the gun on this and apologize for that.

I will answer your question by saying that there was two sets of points in
the Excel file, one for the insertion point of the block and the second for
the location of the actual attribute.

After re-examining my extraction file (.dxe) I noticed there was an extra
box checked off that was for 'Attribute Definition'. That was causing the
extra set of data (see Attached Excel file).

This is a non-issue.
