Curser jumps after a command

Hi, I am using AutoCAD 2015. After I issue a command like line, copy, move etc the curser jumps around and I can't place it exactly where I want it.. The curser moves smoothly until a command is made. Can't draw like that.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Thanx,

Frank

Hi,

Maybe your snap is turned on, try <F9> to toggle it and see if the cursor works than in a normal way.

You might also try to disable object-snap <F3>.

If nothing helps then let us please know if that is drawing specific or if that happens with a new drawing too.

Fix that one troublesome DWG anytime you want, the long list of things to try is here file https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCAD-File-Corru...

or share it over here for all of us to explore it too.
