CTRL + Shift + X not working

So my CTRL + Shift + X is not working for cutting something with a basepoint.  CTRL + Shift + C for copying works but when I select any objects and enter CTRL + Shift + X nothing happens, nothing even appears on the command line.  I just did a clean install of windows and AutoCAD 2025.  Is anyone else having this issue?  Would really like to get this working again since cutting something out of one drawing to another is something I do quiet often.  It's just a way for me to keep track of what I have and haven't copied over yet.  I now have to use CTRL + Shift + C and then delete what I just copied, paste into the next drawing and then come back and grab another object I need.

Hi,

for me - it's working.

What happens if, no objects selected and you do ctrl+shift+x ?

Is your product up to date? Check out your productversion, it works in my drawing and current productversion 2025.1

New acad/acadiso base file, drawed a circle, used ctrl+shift+x and ctrl+v -> correct basepoint.

When no objects are selected there is no response from autocad, same as when I have objects selected.  Just acts like I haven't done anything.

I'm also on version 2025.1.

Tested in a new file, based on acad/acadiso.dwt, same issue?

And: Tried after 1. Acad restart? Tried after PC Reboot?

If you typed the actual command out then hit <enter> to activate it, does it work?
CUTBASE command

Typing the actual command works, using CTRL + Shift + X is the only thing not currently working

Type to check that shortcut in your CUI command then:

It's correct in the CUI, but it's still not working.

Hi,

If command:

_.CUTBASE

doesn't change it, and the cursor does not change after <enter>

I am out of ideas.

After your re-install, did you used the "migration" from previous version option?

(Offered if you have an older version installed too) ?

Do you have other issues too?

I didn't migrate anything over from the previous version.  I had just done a clean install of windows and did a clean install of AutoCAD as well.

Could it be something with the lastest drivers that got installed when windows did all the updates when it was being installed?

Perhaps.

All i can say, it works on my side and it seams, for most of users too.

I am on win10, your OS is?

I am out, but will still follow this topic

I'm using windows 11.  I've been on windows 11 for a long time now and it has always worked.  Not sure what could have caused it not to work but the only thing that has changed is that this is a new windows 11 install.

I opened a support case to get some help with this.  The support helped me to narrow down where the problem was.  At the end in order to figure it out I ended up having to to a clean install again of windows and I had to test out CTRL+Shift+X in AutoCAD after installing every other application I use.  Turns out it was Webex which I use to message and video call with a company I do work for.  I guess in their latest update CTRL+Shift+X is used as a shortcut for something.  I had to go into their settings and turn off this shortcut and then AutoCAD went back to normal
