ctrl+shift+c problem in autocad2010

when i try to press ctrl+shift+c to copy objects into another drawing, my current step is :
1.press ctrl+shift+c
2. select base point
3. select objects
4. ctrl+shift+v to paste objects

I would like to set the follow priority:
1.select objects
2. press ctrl+shift+c
3. select base point

4. ctrl+shift+v to paste objects

yet, i checked my setting of options-->selection,the "noun/verb selection" is ticked already. what should i do for the prefered result?

p.s. i have the similar problem for layer isolate. so far i found these two sitiations do not fit my habit....

Ensure PICKFIRST and PICKADD variables are both on: explore them in HELP.

This is the correct order to complete that task.

Autocad works in this order: Command > Object > options

The order that you want relates to Microstation

Microstation works in this order: Object > Command > Options

No, incorrect: the way the OP wants it to work is working fine here in AutoCAD through R2016.

PICKFIRST system variable:

0 - Turns OFF PICKFIRST. Select objects after a command is invoked.
1 - Turns ON PICKFIRST. Select objects before or after a command is invoked.

1. A routine add-on which effects the noun-verb action.

2. Repair is in order.

3. QAFLAGS = 0...Not sure if this is culprit but has been mentioned with problems similar. (Undocumented SYSTVAR.)

If you recently updated you video card, this may help. Check your Radeon video card setting, mine had the same shortcut for video, which over rides CAD. New PC build, it worked on mine.
