Cross section data from excel to autocad

I have a new challenge with cross section data for 4kmI road I was given it contains only chainages, offsets(left and right) and elevations for both before(binder coarse) and after(wearing coarse) please how can I arrange the data in excel and bring them to autocad. Thanks

Im not familiar with what you are describing.

 

Would you be able to provide some sample data?

 

What are you wanting the data to create in AutoCAD? Points, Lines, etc?

Can you share that XLS file here?
Are you using civil3D? Or just plain AutoCAD?

Attached are my child hood 2 files ONE for centre line method other left to right (link DATA or copy past ) if any thing not clear let me know

seems like you are most of the way there. I just changed some of the text formatting for the command and it looks like it will work. I separated the command that needed a carriage return onto a new line and included a "-" dash to use the command without calling up the dialog boxes. After that i just pasted it into the command line.

I think you have all the parts of the puzzle you need given the above. 

 

Getting the excel data into a usable format is less an AutoCAD issue and feels more like something that some one in your office/industry would be able to help with more than I can. Per haps if you could explain how you would turn that data into a drawing manually I might understand what you are trying to do after that.
