Crop via the rectangle

Hi, I would preserve something in my bounding box (1st from the right) and ever. else I would delete in my drawing (3 boxes on the left). How should I do that ?

@Anonymous  hello, you can try this BLOCK your drawing first then insert, then use xclip command, draw rectangle, make portion that u need to see.

HI,

 

attache this drawing as an XREF (XREF command) then use XCLIP command.in this way you can do many drawings and have the ability to change the source file so that all other ones will automatically changed.also you can modify and change your xclipped item from the same command.

 

Command: xc XCLIP
Select objects: 1 found

Select objects:
Enter clipping option
[ON/OFF/Clipdepth/Delete/generate Polyline/New boundary] <New>: d

If that box is a Polyline, investigate the EXTRIM Express Tool, and Search the Forums [especially the Customization one] for wording such as "Trim outside Polyline" -- there are various routines out there to do that kind of thing.
